Follow your heart ❤️
My journey into design starts 20 years ago, in 2002, in the back of a management and economy university classroom (HEG). By looking at my classmates and teachers, I realised that it was not my passion but an unpersonalised, tasteless and boring field. After a decade of specialisation and 3 papers ( high school, college & upper division certificates ), despite the advice of my dad who saw no perspectives of income and stability into an artistic carrier, I decide to follow my heart even if it means giving up social status and incomes like my dad was afraid of. ECAL 🎓

However, I did not have the necessary prerequisites, a reputedly difficult and very selective entrance exam with a limited number of places stood before me. My passion and my budding ease for computers then pushed me towards the multimedia and interactive design unit. This allows me to get close to all the other fields, as soon as I can I register for transversal workshops: typography, photography, cinema and graphic design. Japan 🇯🇵
When I arrived in Asia, I had the great chance and opportunity to collaborate and work for the group l’Oréal in Tokyo. I had the pleasure to work for their Japanese make-up brand : Shu Uemura. For more than two years I help them in graphic design for their internal « bible », over 250 pages which became the official learning support and guideline for all employees. Along smaller leaflets, some story-board and also a lot of web design for their website. It was a very rich experience which shows me that Switzerland and Japan share the exact same values when it comes to work : very clean, organised, precise, detailed, serious and reliable. It was like make a childhood dream come true and a honour to receive the compliments of clients. But the cherish on the cake came from the Japanese printer who congratulate for my clean and organised inDesign package : Swiss qualities are appreciate even at the other side of the world!
